A lady after my own heart…I did the same thing with the 45! and I do w/ this vid too! I was 14 then.
Even though it’s lip syncing I still love it. I’ve never seen this before. Another reason why youtube is so great. I bought this song on 45 as soon as it came out.
It’s not lip synched. It’s live and very well done.
Definitely performed live..some amazing harmonies between Pete and Tom.
its called voice over where the music is prerecorded and then sung live
This is one band that got totally screwed
by the recording industry. One of best bands ever that never got to reach its full potential.
If there ever was a perfect song, this is it.
Absolutely perfect.
one of the greatest songs that was ever recorded. just shed a tear because it is so touching. reminds me of back in the days when we were cruising around downtown with our mustangs, trying to impress the girls.
i was joey’s twin in the 70′s except i played a flying `v’ instead of an `sg’ . But i was his look alike.
Me Too!!!!, Except (even to this day) girls will say , do you know who Joey Molland of Badfinger is??? I just say, i FUCKING know, (my wife and girlfriend get so fucking pissed), i look just like Joey from Badfinger, i can’t go out of my fucking house without this being said!!! Watch Badfinger do “Suitcase Suitcase” on the Midnight Special, when i grow my stache i’m Joey’s double, except i’m skinnier and better teeth!!! All my friends nicknamed me “JOEY BADFINGER”.
Joey was into intelligent conversation and really was a gentleman. I appreciated that his speech wasn’t laced with profanity of the worst kind.
I’m 42 and love my father for his musical influences. This is one of the songs I used to play for him. Love Molland’s playing. Made me pick up a guitar. Cheers mikecarter79!
I remember this show.. and episode in 72..takes me back as a kid in the 70′s
