i look at my thumbs
then went
WTF LOL
hey!
nice bass tut but i have one question
i have a fender 4 string and my problem is when i try to slap the string hits the boby and makes no sound…..please help^^
You need to lift the finger off of the string, think that solves your problem
are you holligan?
What’s a holigan!?
do you take drugs?
that has got to be the worst slap tone i have ever heard… i get better tone out of my Wal Mart First Act bass.
Yea man, I agree! I did these vids on a beaten up old guitar amp, and a cheap ibanez. Horrible sound. If you take a look at my later vids, im using a musicman, and roland, and the tone is great. Its a pity I can’t go back and re-record these vids
thanks man it`s great
pd beautiful thumb
haha, comfortable with the bass-ics
fuck that… that clown just doesn’t realize that it sounds way different on your end before its recorded compressed 10x times and played back on shit speakers. Holler.
thanks for explaining the thumb knuckle..
question: do you have to slap it near the fret board??
the pasion man the passion lol
this lesson helped so much!
Ow! lol. So my hands are gonna get manky huh? lol. Thanks for this vid!
good job. this is a great vid for beginners. 5 stars
When I slap the string it doesn’t make any sound
Just a vibration
maybe need to apply more pressure, just stick with it and youll get it
its very boom boom boom boom lol
Is it ok to pluck the string between the left pickup and the bridge instead of between the two pickups..
Well Technically that’s all a sound is, a vibration on the bone in your ear drum.
However Try either turning your Bass Amp up, or not Muting the String when you slap it.
sure there is no wrong way to do it, it will just just be a little more bassy, and you’d have to not use as much power to pop it.
thnx man you rcok
nice one! tnx :p
you do a great job teaching man…
Doing a great job of giving people a chance to pick up on the sounds.
