heroin is beautiful and absolute destruction
that’s all I have to say
Crosby also plays rhythm guitar on this, along with Kantner (listen to it in stereo). Of course that’s Jorma on lead acoustic.
Really shows Grace’s vocal ability as a stylist; cool, comtemplative and very sexy.
this version is close to the one Crosby plays on the CSNY live record. very tasty. thanks for posting . If you have it , please post some of the After Bathing at Baxter’s. I would love to hear that.
did not david lee roth rip off this riff? (good times?)
Does anyone know if it’s true that David Crosby, Grace Slick, and Jane Fonda once had a threesome?
No.
And, glimmer’, it didn’t happen. If you think it’s important, ask them.
Any other source would be parenthetic, and/or hearsay even.
a suck leads 2 a fuck.
.So tell me how many people are you gonna smile at after you heard this cuz sex is like math.

My dad used to call me “JEFFERSON AIRPLANE.”Thank You Jukebox!
I think Grace could sing anything, she is just AMAZING
I love this band: The Sixties band the Seventy Band and the Eights Band…Grace nobody like you.
manage a triad…somewhat naive regarding the usual tri-angulation of personalities…but when she sings “and in time maybe others,” horn dogs may howl…
good smokin song

Greatest voice ever!!!
yaah…timleZZ shit-dope!
this was the peak. downhill ever since.
This song holds up very well, especially compared to Kantner’s revolutionary anthems, which are cool but somehow dated.
Of course, this is a pretty revolutionary song as well.
Still rather have Grace then good works, lol
Yeah, I’ve introduced this song to my friends, many of whom aren’t particularly into the 60s, but they love this song.
In another, less-tumultuous life, this amazing lady could just have easily pursued a great career in Jazz.
Love ya Gracie.
*big kiss to Ms Slick*
God what an amazing voice and phraing 2nd only to Sinatra. And What a Killer band.
It could pass for a ‘House’ song today.
What an underated bad
Just amazingly beautiful. All natural musicians. You can’t learn this in school- you’re just born with this talent and creativity.
It breaks all the rules….
