heroin is beautiful and absolute destruction

that’s all I have to say

  2. pyrophore says:

Crosby also plays rhythm guitar on this, along with Kantner (listen to it in stereo). Of course that’s Jorma on lead acoustic.

Really shows Grace’s vocal ability as a stylist; cool, comtemplative and very sexy.

this version is close to the one Crosby plays on the CSNY live record. very tasty. thanks for posting . If you have it , please post some of the After Bathing at Baxter’s. I would love to hear that.

  5. glimmer2158 says:

Does anyone know if it’s true that David Crosby, Grace Slick, and Jane Fonda once had a threesome?

  6. amin1950 says:

    No.

And, glimmer’, it didn’t happen. If you think it’s important, ask them.

Any other source would be parenthetic, and/or hearsay even.

manage a triad…somewhat naive regarding the usual tri-angulation of personalities…but when she sings “and in time maybe others,” horn dogs may howl…

  21. WillInNewHaven says:

This song holds up very well, especially compared to Kantner’s revolutionary anthems, which are cool but somehow dated.

Of course, this is a pretty revolutionary song as well.

Still rather have Grace then good works, lol

  22. tomblah says:

Yeah, I’ve introduced this song to my friends, many of whom aren’t particularly into the 60s, but they love this song.

In another, less-tumultuous life, this amazing lady could just have easily pursued a great career in Jazz.
