Cool interface !!
When using this as a plug-in with ProTools LE or DP6, can you still plug the guitar into the pedal and use the USB connection, or do you have to plug the guitar into PT / MotU interface?
As a standalone unit the sound and control are awesome, but for recording, is RiffworksT4 the only way to record through the Pedals USB connector?
You can use the audio interface portion for any recording software except Pro Tools LE-that requires a Digidesign interface. You can still use the controller portion though for control within Pro Tools.
It´s cool, but very expensive for the limited functionality it has, (home use mostly).
How is its functionality limited? Unlike controllers from Native Instruments, Waves, etc, it actually controls any MIDI software, and has a good audio interface. If I were to buy Guitar Rig 3 I would be stuck only being able to control Guitar Rig, and be paying $499.
If you read my comment properly you can see I´m not comparing it with any other soft controller; and It´s limited functionality lies in that (1) it´s only one pedal, (or two at best), and a lot of pedals to control, (2) using a switch it´s not practical at all, (3) it´s for home recording only, (unless you use a laptop on stage… -not me, thanks- ). This is MY opinion anyway.
Can I use the guitar rig pedal to control the wah and volume pedals in Amplitube?
But, can I use it even for recording bass?
yes
does the stealth pedal work with protools?
It can act as a MIDI controller within Protools.
nice … but what expression pedals and footswitchs can i get to work with the stealth pedal…
It will work with any standard expression pedal. While you can purchase a footswitch that will work with StealthPedal, we make one that is a dual foot switch that will only use one cable, so you can keep the cable down. Both are available on the IK Multimedia site in the Online Store.
Do another trailer with “chassis” pronounced properly and I PROMISE I’ll buy one.
