Let it be – the lost art of allowing – the easiest and most difficult thing in the world along with Plato’s challenge: to express your anger to the right person, at the right time, in the right way… should be taught in school from day one – not allowing people to do this leads to all man’s ills, all wars are the result of failure to do it. The track- beautiful!

All in all that is an awful Platrian idea and I’d like to know where it is from. Let it Be is about instant forgiveness, the opposite idea that is presented in Live And Let Die. It’s kind of like let it be and go your way. Obviously I’m not practicing this because I’m writing this huge piece of garbage. I am I right?

  12. seenandnotheard says:

they didn’t really do 420 takes did they? lol

Interesting point is that all the performances on this are not that good – apart from Ringo. His timing and fills are spot on. Great track to listen to though.

Eh, the Illuminati are vile bluebloods such as Rothschilds, Windsors, Al Gore & Pike etc that rule secret societies including Freemasonry. They’ll probably force vaccination in Fall with toxic garbage, start WW3, implement Codex Alimentarius & internet 2 then stage an alien invasion to get a fascist world government with you chipped. Is the song let it be about marijuana?
Actually, yes. though the beatles never said anything about this, it can be noticed. the beatles never sang anything about religion, remember when the beatles sparked a controversy when they released a statement that says they are more famous than jesus. though they’re a great band, they dont really respect religion(

  21. sabreyow says:

what john lennon said was “that more people are listening to us than are actually worshiping jesus christ”…

  22. zeppelinman71 says:

it’s not that they don’t respect it, they just don’t agree with it. and this song is definately not about marijuana. and so what if they “don’t respect religion”? does that make them terrible people or something?? no, i didn’t think so.

    Paul mom’s name was mary.

  24. superman11978 says:

Their songs are about a lot of things. A lot of different ideas went into each of their songs. One of the ideas in this song is Paul’s deceased mother, Mary, but it’s by no means the only thing the song is about. At the end of the pretty much all of their songs were about life and love.
